Nanigans Gives Back: Cradles to Crayons and Movember

November kicks off a season of giving thanks and giving back, and it’s no exception here at Nanigans. Last week we wrapped up our month long Cradles to Crayons clothing drive and two of our team members have proudly grown mustaches for Movember.

Cradles to Crayons is one of the largest volunteer organizations in Massachusetts, providing children from low income households with clothes, school supplies, toys, and other necessities to keep them safe and ready to learn. Last year Cradles to Crayons provided personalized packages of clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby safety equipment, and school supplies to 87,000 children in dire need. In the beginning of October our team members committed to donating items of clothing, and once our donations were combined we had several full winter outfits to donate to Cradles to Crayons — complete with parkas, pajamas, pants, sweaters and socks.

On top of this, Nanigans is proud to support two of our team members growing mustaches this month for the Movember Foundation, a cause dedicated to driving awareness and support for men’s health issues such as prostate cancer. The Movember movement began in 2003 with a few men from Melbourne, Australia and has grown from 30 “Mo Bros” there to over 850,000 “Mo’s” (males and their female supporters) across the world. If you’re interested in supporting our team members and their fantastic moustaches, you can find there donation pages here and here.

Nanigans wants to thank both organizations for their ongoing hard work and commitment to giving back!
