“We’re thrilled to welcome Ryan to Nanigans and our executive team,” said Ric Calvillo, co-founder and CEO of Nanigans. “As we strengthen our leadership in the high-growth market for in-house advertising software, we need our own strong marketing leader to help us attract and retain more in-house advertising teams. Ryan is a great fit for Nanigans, with his understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, his full-funnel B2B marketing expertise, and his track record of success with market leaders like Spotify, ATG and FAST.”
“I’ve spent my career helping tech leaders accelerate growth by marketing game-changing products that deliver true value for customers,” added Hoppe. “What attracted me to Nanigans is that they are pioneering the in-house advertising movement. This re-definition of the way media is bought and sold benefits savvy marketers by giving them direct control and transparency over their digital spend, as well as the deep customer insights that spend creates. I’m excited to help the company continue its latest stage of growth.”
Ryan comes to Nanigans with more than 20 years of marketing expertise, having held prior marketing leadership positions at The Echo Nest (acquired by Spotify), ATG (acquired by Oracle), FAST (acquired by Microsoft) and Groove Networks (acquired by Microsoft). Over the past two plus years at Spotify, Ryan led the company’s publisher-side product marketing and commercialization efforts to help Spotify monetize free music streams across more than 50 countries worldwide.
