The ideal candidate will have great instincts and can learn from the broader e-commerce landscape to elevate Boxed by focusing on direct response while growing the base and quality of our customers. You are curious and inquisitive, and will assist with ideas for new ways to use these channels to drive the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning execution and management of growth marketing campaigns including paid social, affiliate and display
  • Leveraging customer segmentation research to ideate new tactics, targets and tests
  • Helping to forecast performance and lower-funnel impact from growth marketing tactics
  • Influence holistic media strategy based on results

Role Overview

The role will report to the Vice President and Digital Director of Backstage and will work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and content teams across the business. You will be tasked with demand generation, traffic growth, strategic partnerships and conversion optimization using inbound and outbound marketing tactics. You will set up and use comprehensive analytics to support your strategy and execution of user growth. As a company we really value problem solvers and being able to learn a new technical skill (in a day).

Responsibilities include:

  • Growing qualified organic and paid “top of the funnel” traffic to Backstage.com
  • Driving users through the funnel with lead nurturing, content marketing, and external remarketing campaigns.
  • Managing daily execution of customer acquisition campaigns with a seven figure marketing budget across social media, paid search, email, and app install campaigns, making sure customer acquisition goals are met on a daily basis.
  • Optimizing campaigns and test new tactics, messaging, and audiences to increase efficiency and decrease CPA
