BostInno, the must-read local news outlet focused on innovation in Boston, hosted their inaugural 50 on Fire awards ceremony last night and Nanigans took home an award in the Marketing & Advertising category!
The 50 on Fire awards recognized the 50 hottest companies in Boston’s Arts & Entertainment, Design, Dining & Retail, Education, Healthcare & Medicine, Marketing & Advertising, Media, Sports & Fitness, and Tech sectors. BostInno received more than 2,000 50 on Fire nominations across the 9 categories, which was then narrowed down to 200 finalists; we were nominated for the Marketing and Advertising category along with 23 other nominees. On Tuesday night, Nanigans, Hubspot, Allen & Gerritsen, and Mullen were declared the Marketing & Advertising category’s winners. Other 50 on Fire finalists included: New Balance (Retail & Dining), Island Creek Oyster Bar (Retail & Dining), Harvard University (Education), The Museum of Fine Arts (Arts & Entertainment), and Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Healthcare).
According to BostInno, “being on fire is about being brave. It’s about pushing on the four walls of an industry, a city, a thought, until they expand to make room for an idea, a talent, a success that’s so much bigger than what was there before, and too incredible to be ignored.”
