It may have been a long, cold, bitter winter, but things are starting to heat up in the tech world. If you’re lucky enough to be headed to Austin, Texas for South by Southwest Interactive, make sure you say hey to our SVP of Business Development, Ben Tregoe, who will be discussing the impact of mobile and social advertising on customer engagement alongside industry heavies from Oracle Group on March 8.
Since SXSW is far from the only game in town, here’s a rundown of other upcoming speaking engagements:
Nanigans’ SVP of Marketing Dan Slagen is also showing Texas some love this week. Alongside execs from Threadless and Blinds.com, he’ll be leading Thursday’s keynote panel discussion, “Building Social Communities That Drive Sales,” centered around consumer engagement, user-generated content and community influence. San Antonio will be swarming with 2000+ industry professionals, so if you’re in the retail space this event is a must.
Continuing the sunny destinations trend, Dan will be California-bound for what Entrepreneur Magazine has deemed one of its “Top 10 Must Attend Tech Conferences in 2014.” A cast of 180 mobile movers and shakers will be joining him April 14-15 in Sausalito to cover ad optimization, analytics tools, life-cycle management and more during two days of intensive discussions and workshops.
Investors are set to gather May 13-14 for SunTrust’s first-ever Internet & Digital Media Conference in San Francisco. Public and private companies alike will mingle with angel investors and VCs, engaging in discussion about the future of traditional markets, the lifecycle of the Internet and new ways to map out the landscape and identify opportunities for growth. Dan will be among them — and now we’re officially jealous of his warm weather itinerary.
