Whether you’re a marketer at a retail giant, a gaming company or an insurance firm, Facebook ad campaign metrics matter. While the most important metric is the elusive ROAS (return on ad spend), clicks and costs should always be on your radar.
The infographic below lists ranges for CTRs (click-through rates), CPMs (cost per mille) and CPC (cost per click) taken directly from our quarterly Facebook benchmark reports over the course of a year (Q4 2017 to Q4 2018).
Your metrics may be lower or higher than the ranges in the infographic. However, it’s important to remember you should judge the success of your Facebook ad campaigns relative to your ROAS (return on ad spend) and ROI (return on investment) and not industry averages. But averages are a helpful starting point!
