Our Facebook advertising benchmark report for Q2 2019 is now available!
The quarterly report — which highlights advertising trends among Nanigans’ ecommerce, gaming and lead-generation customers — revealed that the main story for performance advertisers in Q2 was once again … Stories.
Nanigans customers leveraging Instagram and Facebook Stories increased ad budgets by 77% year-over-year and 23% quarter-over-quarter. This is the third straight quarter we’ve seen a bump in Stories ad spend.
It’s worth noting that Stories ad spend gains are slow-moving. The Facebook newsfeed gets the large majority of ad spend among Nanigans’ customers. But while the share of total ad spend going to Stories ads in Q2 was just 4%, that’s a 33% increase over the previous quarter.
